Lectures
Our lectures are delivered by various experienced clinicians from our clinical faculty. They share their insights and experiences on a huge variety of topics. The theory behind complex medical presentations is explained.
Professor Mike Tipton has previously delivered a fantastic lecture about drowning. We aim to deliver a lecture from a HEMS team member annually which is always particularly popular. There are a broad range of topics and excellent speakers who have delivered lectures for us in the past and we are always open to suggestions for the future.

Workshops
We have held a set of A to E assessment workshops covering in detail the elements of this assessment and managing life threatening emergencies for each topic. This bridges the gap between theory and real-world application of clinical assessment and relevant interventions.
We have also had stand alone workshops with the fire service covering extrication and major incident management!
