I am super excited for the upcoming Wessex CCP year and I’m passionate about creating a welcoming place for all healthcare specialties and anybody who has an interest in Critical Care! I’m confident that this is going to be one of our best years yet!

Wessex CCP Deputy Lead: Heidi Redding
Adult Nursing - Year 3
When I am not working, I enjoy sending jumps on my mountain bike and being outdoors. I’m excited to help improve our experience for student nurses / AHPs who may feel a little out of their depth at Wessex Events this year!

Lectures Lead: Josh Bourne
Paramedic Science - Year 3
I am glad to have been chosen for the lecture lead role for the ‘Wessex Critical Care Programme’ for the 25/26 academic year. I am looking forward to continuing the ongoing success from last year, by welcoming some familiar faces, whilst continuing to network and invite a range of experienced guest speakers throughout the academic year, with the aim to teach and inspire the upcoming generation of healthcare and medical students.

Workshops Lead: Connor Morton
Medicine - Year 3
This year marks my fourth year on the ccp committee and first in a lead role. I'm excited to revive the workshops activities and develop the preexisting plans building on previous experience of the workshops we have ran.

Paramedic Science - Year 3
Co Lead for the wessex ccp EPICC Conferences. Looking to deliver events that follow the high standards of previous years, with the aim of refining and improving where possible.

EPICC Co-Lead: Ben Hopper
Paramedic Science - Year 2
I’m Ben, I’m one of the new EPICC co-Leads. Current 2nd year para student at Bournemouth. I love sports, specifically hockey and badminton and I would love to work abroad with my degree. I aim to deliver some high quality major incident sim days across a variety of scenarios.

I've absolutely loved being part of Wessex CCP over the past three years, and I'm beyond excited to be back again this year! I'm passionate about making sure Wessex continues to be a supportive and inclusive space for everyone, no matter their profession

This year I hope to connect more students from BU and other universities to Wessex CCP and raise awareness of the exciting events we run across healthcare courses.

Portsmouth Representative: Isabel Logan
Paramedic Science - Year 3
I am the Portsmouth representative and am looking to advertise and advocate for Wessex CCP to students to allow them to take part in workshops / lectures / EPICC. My main goal is to increase the knowledge and confidence students have in pre-hospital care. Additionally I want to be a helping hand within the team to help share the load.
